Astute analysis by a very wise man.

Dr. Theodore Dalrymple is interviewed by PJ Media's  Bernard Chapman.  The topic is societal degeneration of western cultures.  Dr Dalrymple is well versed on the subject since he has been working as a psychiatrist in English prisons.  He's seen the devil's work up close.

excerpt:

"Intellectuals need to say things that are not immediately obvious or do not occur to the man in the street. The man in the street instinctively sympathizes with the victim of crime; therefore, to distinguish himself from the man in the street, the intellectual has to sympathize with the criminal, by turning him into a victim of forces which only he, the intellectual, has sufficient sophistication to see"

Why Reuters news is biased and bogus.  Here's some selected bits from the December 14 article on Bush's  last visit to  Iraq.  "Bush makes farewell visit to Iraq".    I won't mention the writer so as not to embarrass him.

Reuters:  "The brief visit was meant to showcase recent security gains in Iraq but was also a stark reminder of how heavily the war will weigh on the Republican president's foreign policy legacy."

Antitimes:  Oh ya,  Bush's legacy is ruined because he stood up to a insane dictator who was a mass murder of tens of thousands of civilians.  President Bush also enforced multiple UN resolutions which the corrupt organization failed to act on for years.

Reuters:  "Though Iraq has slipped down the list of Americans' concerns as the recession-hit U.S. economy has taken center stage, polls show most people think the war was a mistake."

AntitimesWhat do you mean "most people"?  Most people of the world's population - yes I suppose.  Most people in Iraq -not by a long shot.  Most people in the USA - maybe.  Most people in journalism-no doubt.  Most people with their heads up their- - TV, who have no concept of evil or history - definitely!

Reuters:  "About 140,000 U.S. troops will still be in Iraq nearly six years into a war that has killed more than 4,200 American military personnel and tens of thousands of Iraqis."

AntitimesSo American soldiers are to be used only for "Bed &Breakfast" duties within the United States or for aiding dark skinned people during a natural disaster?  We've got an all volunteer army trained to kill people we don't like and smash their stuff,  but we're not supposed to launch them.  Our military is supposed to stand around and polish their machine guns and make sure their tank tracks don't have a little rock stuck in them!

Reuters:  "Obama pledged during the campaign to withdraw U.S. combat troops in 16 months, which will now have to reconciled with the timetable set in the new security deal."

Antitimes:  Obama pledged to remove all our troops protecting the Iraqis immediately, regardless of the consequences.  He and 99% of Democrats tried to destroy our war effort for their perceived political gain.  So now Obama will have to act like an adult and manage a reasonable withdrawal timetable or be saddled with an Iraq debacle.  Tough shirt!

This is what Antitimes likes, bogus biased media for all to see.  complete article
